Nicotiana benthamiana Transcriptome or Gene expression

The goal of this project was to increase the publicly available genomic resources for Nicotiana benthamiana. We therefore chose to produce gene expression libraries from 4 tissue sources; leaves, roots, floral corollas and developing seed capsules. The resulting transcriptome assemblies should benefit researchers who use N. benthamiana to study gene silencing and plant-microbe interactions, and they complement the recently-released draft genome sequence.
