Habitat suitability and environmental drivers of Haemaphysalis longicornis in the central mountainous region of Shandong, China
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the study “Habitat suitability and environmental drivers of Haemaphysalis longicornis in the central mountainous region of Shandong, China”. The study is based on a standardized field survey conducted in the central mountainous region of Shandong Province, China, from May to June 2024. A total of 2,127 valid sampling sites were included, and Haemaphysalis longicornis was detected at 894 sites. The dataset contains the de-identified occurrence data, the model input table, metadata, and analysis code used for habitat suitability modeling, model comparison, sensitivity analysis, and figure generation. Environmental predictors were compiled from climate, topography, remotely sensed ecological variables, and land-use data. A total of 53 candidate variables were considered, and multiple species distribution modeling approaches were compared, including seven single models and three ensemble models. The final outputs include model performance summaries, predictor importance results, response curve outputs, and the final habitat suitability map. To reduce the risk of disclosing sensitive field locations, the publicly shared occurrence dataset contains masked or de-identified geographic coordinates. The full georeferenced field-survey dataset is not publicly released, but can be made available to journal editors and reviewers during peer review and to qualified researchers upon reasonable request.
