Sequence reads generated from mixed Australian Drosophila mock communities and field collected traps using a non-destructive metabarcoding assay. Samples were spiked with either 1 or 5 specimens of Drosophila suzukii, Drosophila subpulchrella or Drosophila biarmipes to evaluate assay sensitivity.
