cDNAs cloned from the esophageal gland regions of the soybean cyst nematode, Heterodera glycines. Heterodera glycines

The goal of this project was to obtain candidate effector cDNA clones from the esophageal gland regions of the soybean cyst nematode, Heterodera glycines, then screen for gland-specific expression through in situ hybridization techniques. Cytoplasm was microaspirated from the gland cells, and mRNA was extracted and used to establish a gland cell cDNA library. Individual clones were obtained from the cDNA library, and then macroarrayed for sanger sequencing. Here, we are submitting the 3,392 complete high quality sequences that resulted from our sequencing project.
