Cardiomyocyte ßII Spectrin Plays a Critical Role in Maintaining Cardiac Function via Regulating Mitochondrial Respiratory Function

To investigate the Cardiomyocyte ßII Spectrin in the regulation of mitochondrial respiratory function, we established mouse neonatal cardiomyocytes (NCMs) in which SPTBN1 has been knocked down by shRNA. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 different cells at the same point. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for mouse neonatal cardiomyocytes (NCMs) and its ßII spectrin overexpression.
