2020 Aquaponics Industry Survey Dataset

This dataset contains the responses from an international aquaponics industry survey conducted from December 2019 to June 2020. Responses (N = 433) were collected using a mixture of question formats to obtain qualitative and quantitative data. Respondents differentiated themselves as hobbyist, producer, educator, or supporting group. All groups received the introductory block (21 questions), training/work hours (2), fish production (11), plant production (14), food safety (7), demographics (8) and a wrap-up block to collect voluntary survey feedback and contact information (4). Educators received 10 classroom usage questions and producers received 23 additional questions about business and marketing. This data should be used to inform research, teaching, and Extension efforts. This data has been de-identified to protect the confidentiality of the respondents.
