Whole-rock major element composition and zircon U-Pb data of the Cretaceous volcanic rocks in the Incheon-Gimpo area

This dataset includes whole-rock major element composition and zircon U-Pb data of the Cretaceous volcanic rocks distributed in the Incheon-Gimpo area, with relevant sampling information. The aim of the study is to preserve and share the basic geological information on these rocks and foster future research. A total of 15 rock samples were collected from the area 37.52°–37.70°N, 126.51°–126.62°E. Whole-rock major element composition was obtained by using XRF (Shimadzu MXF-2400); zircon U-Pb age analysis was conducted by using LA-MC-ICP-MS (Nu Plasma II with New Wave Research 193 nm ArF excimer laser).
