Bacterial community structure in the soil plastisphere

we aim to compare the antibiotic resistome and colonized bacterial community in three different types of microplastic with two different sizes with the surrounding soil after 90-day incubation with metagenomic approaches based on Illumina high throughput sequencing (HTS). Furthermore, the co-occurrence relationship among them was evaluated to reveal the associations between ARGs and bacterial community structure. We aim to investigate the effect of particle types and sizes on the composition of antibiotic resistome in the plastisphere, and explore how bacterial community shape antibiotic resistome in soil plastisphere.
