Dataset: Literature list and descriptors for Performance Assessment and Challenges of Ammonia Stripping Technologies

This Zenodo record provides the literature list information for 483 ammonia stripping-related studies included in our systematic review. The dataset summarizes key study characteristics used for descriptive analyses, including publication year range, wastewater type (synthetic, anaerobic digestion-derived liquid, urban wastewater, sour wastewater, manure, human urine and other), technology type (TAS, EAS, VAS, NS, MAS), research scale (full, lab, pilot), and the country of the first author’s affiliation. Two screening flags indicate whether each study was eligible for quantitative extraction in this review: “Energy consumption analysis” and “Economic analysis” (Y = meets our extraction criteria and data were extracted; N = not eligible under our extraction criteria). In total, 131 studies are flagged as Y in at least one of these two columns and were used for subsequent energy/economic data extraction (compiled separately as Supplementary File 2 in the journal submission).
