资源简介:
The high-concentrate feeding mode in intensive ruminant production often induces gastrointestinal dysfunction, characterized by microbial dysbiosis, oxidative stress, and inflammation, which compromise animal health and productivity. Glycerol monodecanoate (GMD), a medium-chain fatty acid derivative, has shown promise as a feed additive. However, its mechanisms of action in the ruminant gastrointestinal tract have not been fully clarified. This study investigated the mechanisms by which GMD modulates gastrointestinal health in Yanbian cattle fed a high-concentrate diet, via microbiome, metabolome, and transcriptome analyses. Thirty cattle were randomly assigned to a basal diet or a basal diet supplemented with 60 g/cattle/day GMD for 100 days.
