PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing used paper pulp from a pulp material containing used paper containing gypsum and used paper containing an adhesive， and to provide used paper pulp. SOLUTION: A method for producing the waste paper pulp from a waste paper pulp raw material 11 comprises: a disaggregation step of disaggregating the waste paper pulp raw material 11， in which waste paper 10 containing a gypsum component and waste paper containing an adhesive are mixed， to make it a pulp turbid liquid; and a separation step of separating and removing the gypsum component with the adhesive from the pulp turbid liquid to obtain the residue， where the residue is the waste paper pulp.
