Synchrotron X-ray microtomographic data of the female and male heads of four species of histerid beetles (Margarinotus brunneus, Margarinotus striola succicola, Saprinus semistriatus, and Saprinus planiusculus) analyzed in Bajerlein et al. 2025. The original tomograms were aligned, cropped and converted to 8 bit.
