Seoul, South Korea 2022 Spring PM2.5 fungi

This project investigates the fungal communities in PM2.5 samples collected from Seoul, South Korea, during the spring of 2022. DNA was extracted from the particulate matter, and ITS2 was amplified and sequenced using the Illumina MiSeq platform. The study aims to characterize the fungal diversity in the atmosphere and understand the potential environmental and seasonal influences on fungal populations in airborne particulate matter.
