Surfactant Dispersion of 11B Enriched Boron Nitride Nanotubes

We will study the interactions in dispersions of 11B enriched boron nitride nanotubes in aqueous 1 wt% anionic surfactant – sodium dodecyl sulfate – to elucidate the geometry of the surfactant-nanotubes interactions leading to a successful liquid phase exfoliation. The study is expected to give us insight into the important properties of the surfactant enabling the dispersion, holding a significant importance in understanding and developing nanomaterial processing.
