Analysis of Effect of human disturbance on the spread of a high-Arctic species
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the input data (data_in) and the scripts (scripts) used in the study “Effect of human disturbance on the spread of a high-Arctic species”. Input data includes: “NP_S100_SHP/ S100_Vann_f.shp”: the shape file of Svalbard lake bodies; original at: Norwegian Polar Institute (2014). Kartdata Svalbard 1:100 000 (S100 Kartdata) / Map Data [Data set]. Norwegian Polar Institute. https://doi.org/10.21334/npolar.2014.645336c7 “DEMfull.tif”: Digital Elevation Map of Svalbard provided by the Norwegian Polar institute; original at: Norwegian Polar Institute (2014). Terrengmodell Svalbard (S0 Terrengmodell) [Data set]. Norwegian Polar Institute. https://doi.org/10.21334/npolar.2014.dce53a47 “KappLinne_allTrails.kml KappLinne_allTrails.kml”: KML file of trails in the research area generated with Google Earth Pro; “Papaver_dalianum_2023survey.csv”: observed presence of Papaver dahlianum in the 2023 survey, with original GPS measurement point, distance from the closest reference point (pole), coordinates in the original CRS (epsg:25833, WG84 UTM33; lon, lat), coordinates in decimal degrees, and species abundance at each point; “Papaver_dalianum_historicalPresence.csv”: observed historical presence of Papaver dahlianum in the larger research area, with name of the collector (observer), year of observation, coordinates in DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds), decimal degrees, and Svalbard CRS (epsg:25833, WG84 UTM33); “Poppy_img.png”: photo of Papaver dahlianum specimen taken during the 2023 survey (dd lat: 78.059; dd lon: 13.627); “trail_idx_df.csv”: index position of the surveyed trail with reference to the UAV image; “UAV_full.tif” and “UAV_full_10cm.tif”: 5 cm resolution aerial image generated during the 2023 trail survey with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and re-scaled image at 10 cm resolution used in the analysis of terrain preference. Scripts used to analyse the data include: “GBIF_GLM_analysis.R”: R script to gather GBFI presences of Papaver dahlianum, plot research area with historical and contemporary (survey 2023) presence of P. dahlianum, and perform GLM analysis to investigate the relationship between the density of P. dahlianum and potential predictors of human disturbance (e.g. distance from the station, distance to the closest trail); “Supplement, Effect of human disturbance on the spread of the Svalbard Poppy.ipynb”: Python script (and compiled .pdf) to perform the main statistical analysis of the study, fit the establishment kernels, model the spread of P. dahlianum under two dispersal scenarios, and perform the UAV analysis of terrain preference.
