Expenses on outdoor sports activities in Japan 2023, by type of sport

According to a survey that looked into people's leisure activity habits in Japan, people who played golf (on a golf course) spent on average 164.6 thousand Japanese yen on their hobby in 2023. Golfing was the outdoor sports activity that recorded the highest average expenditure by participants, followed by the category surfing and windsurfing.
