The DV3D dataset

The DV3D dataset contains data collected within the DFG project "Lizenzierungsbedingungen für deutsche Verb-Dritt-Sätze in der Diachronie" (Licensing conditions for German verb third clauses in diachrony), project number 76919537, period 11/2017 to 10/2020. 

The DV3D dataset contains a total of 889 multi-layer annotations in EXMARaLDA format (exb), 696 from Old High German, 70 from Middle High German, and 123 from Early New High German.
In addition, the archive contains five prepared ANNIS databases. While one ANNIS database was prepared for each of the Middle and Early High German data, the Old High German data sets are divided into three databases: one each for diagnostic V3 and VL sentences, and one for structurally ambiguous sentences lacking diagnostic elements for unambiguous identification of verb position.
