16s rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing metadata from potato cultivated soil on Korea

These data were gathered from rhizosphere soil and bulk soil of potato (cv.Sumi) cultivation across three regions in Korea known as Cheongju, Pyeongchang and Gangneung, during the flowering stage. DNA was extracted from the collected samples, and the V4 region of 16s rRNA and the ITS1 region of ITS were amplified using universal primer pairs. Subsequently, the amplicons were sequenced using the Illumina Miseq platform.
