资源简介:
This BioProject contains raw amplicon sequencing data generated to characterize the bacterial and fungal communities associated with Brazilian coffee crops. Microbial DNA was extracted from soil and fruit (coffee cherry) samples collected from plantations of Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora distributed across four Brazilian floristic domains (Amazon, Atlantic Forest, Caatinga, and Cerrado) and multiple producing regions/states. Bacterial communities were profiled using 16S rDNA sequencing and fungal communities using ITS sequencing, enabling comparisons of microbiome composition across coffee species, sample types (soil vs fruit), and geographic/ecological domains to support studies of coffee terroir and microbial candidates relevant to sustainable management and fermentation processes.
