Global vegetation phenology dataset covering the period from 1981 to 2022, containing the start and end dates of the growing season. This product has global coverage, with a spatial resolution of 5 km for 1981–1999 and 500 m for 2000–2022, and an annual temporal resolution. It unifies phenology extraction methods based on both inflection points and threshold criteria. The proposed algorithm is applicable to diverse types of vegetation growth curves, and enhances the effective inversion ratio in tropical regions.
