PBB153 alters DNA methylation in in vitro-derived spermatogenic cells, so we hypothesized that lower levels of epigenetic gene inactivation would alter gene expression. Using our in vitro model for human spermatogenesis, we generated spermatogenic cells from human embryonic stem cells in the presence of 3 concentrations of PBB153 and a vehicle control, isolated the total RNA and performed RNAseq analyses through Novogene Corporation Inc.
