Mobile player spending following Genshin Impact character release 2020-2021

As of March 2021, Zhongli was the Genshin Impact character global players are estimated to have spent the most on in a single day. Following the release of the character Zhongli in the RPG, it has been estimated that 15.5 million U.S. dollars were spent by mobile players on December 1st, 2020. Genshin Impact, developed by Chinese company miHoYo, has since surpassed 1 billion U.S. dollars in mobile player spending since its launch in September 2020.
