The Grain Sorghum Marketing Board was placed under a scheme of arrangement in 1983. An advisory committee consisting of five growers and a former appointed Board member was set up to assist the Scheme Managers. This continued until February 1990 when an administrator was appointed.The series contains a) minutes of the Management Committee 29 September, 1984 - 5 October, 1984. These were informal minutes relating to grain sales and administration matters within the Board. b) The Minutes of the Advisory Committee (sometimes called the Committee) are present from April, 1986 until1 March, 1988, with these are financial reports and some items of correspondence. c) Board Charge Collection Report 31 August, 1988 - 28 February 1989, listing the quantity of grain produced and that purchased by the Board. d) Weekly Scheme Manager's Report from 8 March, 1985 onwards
