Quantifying cracking and strain localisation in a cold spray chromium coating on a zirconium alloy substrate under tensile loading at room temperature

A Jupyter notebook which uses the open-source DefDAP Python package (https://github.com/MechMicroMan/DefDAP) to open enclosed HRDIC and macroscopic DIC data for a Cold spray Cr coating on a Zr alloy substrate that was subject to in-situ SEM incremental loading at room temperature. The crack density and strain values can be visualized and quantified.

Also, XRD data for residual stress measurements are available, as well as EBSD maps on cracked regions.
