Google Earth validation dataset (GEVD) is created to assess DSWF dataset. GEVD contains 35 reference surface water fraction tiles at 10-meter resolution with 500×500 pixels, which were manually labeled from 1-meter Google Earth images, followed by spatial aggregation to 10-meter tiles.
