Cases were selected based on media, social networks and other public information. For each flood case, the maximum amount of precipitation within 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 hours is presented according to two stations: VU MS and Vilnius MS . It is also noted whether the amount of precipitation fell within the warning, severe or catastrophic (not recorded) amount of precipitation according to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania*. The number of streets flooded during the downpour is also provided. *Warning level rainfall , when >=15 - <50 mm falls in 12 hours or less. Severe rainfall is rainfall that >=50 - <80 mm falls in 12 hours or less. Catastrophic rainfall is rainfall that exceeds 80 mm in 12 hours or less.
