Rieducare i rom e sinti tra passato e presente. Il genocidio e l'etnocidio culturale

This article analyze the issue of re-education policies addressed to Roma and Sinti in Europe during the twentieth century to reconstruct a history of the minority that oscillates between genocide in the Nazi and fascist period and the cultural ethnocide in the present. The lack of deconstruction of the prejudice of "Gypsies" has caused the preservation of stereotypes about this minority and the permanence of social exclusion in the present.
