Talimogene Laherparepvec in Combination With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Triple Negative Breast Cancer

This study is a single arm, open label phase 1/simon two stage phase 2 trial testing the safety and efficacy of combining talimogene laherparepvec (TVEC) in combination with weekly paclitaxel followed by dose dense doxorubicin/cyclophosphamide for the neoadjuvant treatment of stage 2-3 triple negative breast cancer. The trial demonstrated the addition of TVEC to neoadjuvant chemotherapy was feasible, resulted in a pCR rate of 45.9%, RCB0-1 rate of 65%, and event free survival of 89%. The macrodissected FFPE samples are from 50 patients treated across both phases across different timepoints (pre-treatment, week 6, and surgical resection). RNAseq data is provided along with clinical classifiers used.
