Flow velocity and along-flow stress products for Larsen C Ice Shelf, Antarctica, modelled before and after the calving event of Iceberg A68 in July 2017

Data was modelled using BISICLES, using inputs derived from: the Sentinel-1 velocity maps from satellite feature tracking, performed as part of the RACE project (NE/R012334/1); Bedmap2 (Fretwell et al, 2013) ice thickness & bed elevation. The velocity/stress maps indicate the precursor velocity and stress states prior to the acquisition of seismic and radar datasets, and satellite feature tracking, performed as part of the RACE project (NE/R012334/1).
