A price survey conducted at supermarkets in Nagoya City revealed that the average price of 1 kg of lemons in December 2016 was 729 yen. Compared to the national average of 795 yen, lemons in Nagoya City were sold at a price 66 yen lower than the national average. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the highest price for lemons at supermarkets within Nagoya City was recorded in November 2015 at 791 yen, while the lowest price was observed in August 2016 at 656 yen. The price difference between the peak and lowest price periods for lemons in the Nagoya City area (November 2015 and August 2016) was 66 yen.
