Human DNA methylation Beadchip v1.2 was used to profile buffy coat samples. The main goal of the study was to relate DNA methylation data to Huntington disease status (control, pre-manifest disease, manifest motor disease). Each sample actually represents an average across 12 individuals that were located on the same Illumina chip (SENTRIX ID). The following sample characteristics are provided for each sample: Average chronological age at the time of the DNA sample collection. The average was formed over 12 samples with the same SENTRIX ID. Average body mass index - The average was formed over 12 samples with the same SENTRIX ID. DNAmAgeDNA - methylation age, i.e. the predicted age based on the epigenetic clock software (https://dnamage.genetics.ucla.edu/) described in the following reference Horvath S (2013) DNA methylation age of human tissues and cell types Genome Biology PMID: 24138928 . HD.Status - Huntington disease status which takes 3 values: control, pre-manifest (before onset of motor symptoms) and manifest (manifests motor symptoms of the disease). **Please note that raw data is not provided due to severe data sharing restriction and the highly sensitive nature of the disease (human Mendelian disease).**
