This dataset compiles a series of snow cover type thematic maps across China, based on ground and remote sensing survey data as well as the resultant data from snow cover type classification. The included maps cover snow cover density (2017–2020), snow cover duration (1980–2020), snow depth/snow water equivalent (1980–2020), and snow albedo (2000–2020).
