vitamin C mitigated hexavalent chromium toxicity by microbiota-gut-brain axis in zebrafish

Zebrafish is characterized by small size, rapid development, high fertility, short life cycle, easy and economical rearing; it has now become one of the model organisms for drug screening, disease research and ecological environment evaluation. Therefore, this project takes zebrafish as a model organism as the research object, and intends to study the role of vitamins in alleviating brain hexavalent chromium toxicity from the perspective of oxidative damage through the application of toxicology, transcriptome molecular biology and other techniques.
