Value of purchases using points of sale in the M. R. Porto 2006-2023

The value of purchases using points of sale in the Metropolitan Area of Porto increased by 1.2 billion euros (+11.23 percent) since the previous year. With 11.89 billion euros, the value of purchases thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. For more insights about the value of purchases using points of sale consider different regions: in 2023, in comparison to the Metropolitan Area of Porto, the value of purchases in Vila Nova de Gaia as well as in Castelo Branco was considerably lower.
