Images from an Archaeological Evaluation at Pipeyard Lane Works, Pipeyard Lane, Newbold Coleorton, Leicestershire, January 2022

This collection comprises images from an archaeological field evaluation at Pipeyard Lane Works, Pipeyard Lane, Newbold Coleorton, Leicestershire. This work was undertaken by the University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) in January 2022.The field evaluation identified evidence for railway track lines which appear to relate to the early 19th century Coleorton Railway identified during previous excavations and shown on the LIDAR data. No archaeology was seen other than the visible tracks at the edge of the site.
