This dataset targets the corrosion protection challenges for steel used in marine environmental engineering construction across Southeast Asia. Through Sino-foreign cooperation, field corrosion experimental studies were conducted on typical and novel coatings in the tropical marine environment of Thailand, a Southeast Asian country. The dataset contains data including electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), adhesion, glossiness, and macroscopic morphology of protective coatings in tropical Southeast Asian environments, with 57 data records and a total size of 9 MB.
