Flood risk in the United States
收藏资源简介:
This contains four datasets, including: Flood simulation: the 30-yr flood flow (rivout_hist_30yr_except_ganhan.bin), the future changes (2036-2065 vs 1985-2014) in annual maximum discharge (conus_rivout_yearmax_change_ensmean_ssp245.bin). Flood exposure: the 30-yr population exposure (2036-2065 vs 1985-2014) in the regions with flood defense level data in the baseline and future period (e.g., conus_pop_exposure_hist_6min_can.bin). Effectiveness of the flood defense: the effectiveness of the flood defense in the baseline and future period based on five GCMs (e.g., conus_fpl_effectiveness_hist_each_gcm.bin). The flood defense construction costs required at grid points with existing flood defenses to reduce future flood exposure (2036-2065) to historical levels (1985-2014) based on five GCMs. The "fpl_invest_ssp245_each_gcm.bin" means absolute flood exposure, and the "fpl_invest_ssp245_prop_each_gcm.bin" means relative flood exposure. All the above data cover the region spanning 130°W–60°W and 20°N–60°N. The spatial resolution is 0.1°.
