资源简介:
Datafiles for the paper:
Steady undisturbed velocity correction scheme for Euler-Lagrange simulations near planar walls
authored by: Akshay Chandran, Fabien Evrard, and Berend van Wachem.
Data description
The data provides the particle positions, velocities, and relative errors for figures in the paper for the parallel settling and perpendicular falling particle cases.
The data is organized into the following two folders:
1. case_parallelsettling:
The subfolder error_data contains error values shown in figure 12 of the manuscript. The file plot_error.py can be used to access this data.
The subfolder re-0.01 contains particle velocity data for three different particle diameter to mesh-spacing ratios of dp/dx = 0.1, 0.5, and 1 corresponding to figures 9, 10, and 11 in the paper. Each of these subfolders contain folders corresponding to different Stokes numbers of St = 0.016, 0.16, 1.6, 3.2, 8, and 16. Data for one-way coupled, two-way coupled with correction, and two-way coupled without correction simulations are within the files reference.dat, withcorrection.dat, and withoutcorrection.dat respectively. The first column in each of these files is the time-step from the simulation, and the second column contains the particle velocity in the wall-parallel direction. The file plot_data.py can be used to access these files.
2. case_perpendicularfalling:
This folder contains subfolders corresponding to the four different Stokes numbers of St = 0.025, 0.25, 2.5, and 5, as shown in figures 13 and 14 of the paper. Data for one-way coupled, two-way coupled with correction, and two-way coupled without correction simulations are within the files reference.dat, withcorrection.dat, and withoutcorrection.dat respectively. Each of these files contain the first column as the time-step from the simulation, the second column as the distance of the particle center from the wall, and the third column as the velocity of the particle in the wall-normal direction. The file plot_data.py can be used to access these files.
