This dataset focuses on the task of identifying the positions of 5 to 15 chess pieces on a chessboard. The goal of this project is to develop a model capable of generating FEN notations based on chessboard schematic diagrams. We randomly generated 100,000 images of chessboard configurations, where each configuration includes 5 to 15 chess pieces: exactly 2 kings plus 3 to 13 additional chess pieces per board.
