VPRS 14624 Index to Filing Systems for Various Councils, Water and Sewerage Authorities

This series comprising indices and/or lists of various water authorities and councils was apparently put together by Central Gippsland Water Authority (trading as Gippsland Water) VA 4094 in 1994. The lists and indices were created as part of the record keeping system of its predecessor agencies including councils, water and sewerage authorities. The controlled series, i.e. files however, in most cases are not in archival custody.Although the lists/indices were originally held within a binder, it was decided to process each list/index as a separate item at the time of processing of the P1 consignment of this series.The items include:Item 1Alphabetical List of File Classification Headings created by VA 4094 Central Gippsland Water Authority (trading as Gippsland Water). This list provides an overview of the file classification system and references to old file numbers (of the previous agencies filing system, see VPRS 13979 General Correspondence Files, Alpha Numeric).Item 2File List, Alpha Numeric created by VA 4094 Central Gippsland Water Authority (trading as Gippsland Water). The controlled series of files are not in archival custody.Item 3File Lists, Alpha Numeric for files created by VA 2220 Traralgon Water Board and its predecessor agencies VA 2164 Traralgon Waterworks Trust and VA 2039 Traralgon Sewerage Authority.Item 4Sewerage Plan List, Sequential Number appears to have been created by either VA 2220 Traralgon Water Board or VA 2039 Traralgon Sewerage Authority.Item 5List of Subject Files created by VA 4689 City of Sale (Water and Wastewater Authority).Item 6Alphabetical List of File Classification Headings created by VA Maffra Waterworks Trust.Item 7Alphabetical List of Files, Multiple Number System created by VA 2671 Tarago Water Board.
