Huanglongbing (HLB) has caused a severe global decline in citrus production over the past decade. Improved fertilization management has been suggested as a possible mechanism to help trees to cope with HLB but there is a need for enhanced nutrient regimens as current guidelines based on non-HLB-affected trees were developed many years and may no longer be adequate. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of varying planting densities and fertilizer application methods and rates on HLB-affected citrus root and soil health.
