Single nucleus RNA-seq atlas of mouse mediobasal hypothalamus

To uncover the cellular identifies of the mouse mediobasal hypothalamic cells, we used single nucleus RNA-seq (snRNA-seq). Wild-type mice were maintained on ad libitum chow prior and treated with either saline or insulin prior to microdissection of the hypothalamus. We then isolated nuclei and subjected these nuclei to snRNA-seq using the 10x Genomics 3’ gene expression platform.
