STAR-FARM Lexicon for Agroecology and Innovation (English/Vietnamese)

The STAR-FARM Workshop, held on October 22–23, 2025, at Can Tho University, Vietnam, marked a key milestone in advancing international collaboration at the crossroads of agroecology, artificial intelligence (AI), and participatory science. Jointly organized by CIRAD, IRD, FAO, and Can Tho University, the event gathered experts from Southeast Asia and Europe to co-construct multilingual (English/Vietnamese) to collect semantic knowledge dealing with agroecological practices and innovation processing in the Mekong Delta. The STAR-FARM lexicon was constructed by synthesizing and adapting two established agroecological and sustainability-related lexical resources: <br>

The STAR-FARM lexicon composed by <b>6 main concepts</b> (i‧e. Problem issues, Actors, Practices, Knowledge, Characterizing, Impact) and <b>553 terms</b> (version consolidated in January 2026). This lexicon is an important outcome of the STAR-FARM Workshop (FAO, EU). <br>
