下行短波辐射是大气顶的太阳辐射经大气中的气体、云、气溶胶等吸收、散射的多重作用后最终到达地表的部分,是生物圈以及地球化学循环的主要能量来源,对植被光合作用、地-气感热/潜热交换、水循环等过程的准确模拟具有重要作用。

下行短波辐射产品可用于气候资源调查、林业发展规划及指导农业生产、管理和种植。
光伏发电评估
作为本底数据对光伏发电潜力进行科学评估、支持光伏电站建设前期选址决策,从而为清洁能源发展规划提供依据 。

Downward Shortwave Radiation (DSR) refers to the portion of solar radiation at the top of the atmosphere (TOA) that finally reaches the Earth's surface after undergoing multiple absorption and scattering processes by atmospheric gases, clouds, aerosols and other substances. It is the primary energy source for the biosphere and biogeochemical cycles, and plays a critical role in accurately simulating processes such as vegetation photosynthesis, surface-atmosphere sensible/latent heat exchange, and the water cycle.
Solar Energy Monitoring: Downward shortwave radiation products can be applied to climate resource surveys, forestry development planning, as well as guiding agricultural production, management and planting.
Photovoltaic Power Generation Assessment: As baseline data, it enables scientific evaluation of photovoltaic power generation potential and supports early-stage site selection decision-making for photovoltaic power station construction, thereby providing a basis for clean energy development planning.
Evapotranspiration: It provides multi-spatiotemporal-scale driving data for remote sensing monitoring and estimation of soil evaporation and plant transpiration.
Carbon Stock Survey: Based on different vegetation types, as well as soil, atmospheric, hydrological and climatic conditions, it analyzes vegetation carbon sequestration capacity and carbon stock status, providing support for the carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategies and decision-making.
