VPRS 15137 Outward Letterbooks, Committees

This series contains copies of outward letters of two Council committees. The volume mainly comprises correspondence of the Public Assistance Committee regarding sustenance and unemployment relief, 1933-1939. It also includes two letters of the Soldiers Farewell Committee regarding farewell functions and presentations to soldiers in 1940.The records are arranged chronologically according to date when written.(Most of these letters were written by C.G. Williams, who was Shire Secretary and Honorary Secretary of the two committees.)
