Urban Clusters (2000)

This dataset includes urban cluster boundaries for areas within the NCTCOG region. An urban cluster (UC) consists of densely settled territory that contains at least 2,500 people but fewer than 50,000 people. The U.S. Census Bureau delineates UCs to provide a more consistent and accurate measure of the population concentration in and around urban areas. These urban cluster boundaries were derived from 2000 Census data. This file is for reference use only. NCTCOG and its members are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in the file.

本数据集涵盖北中德克萨斯政府间理事会（North Central Texas Council of Governments, NCTCOG）辖区内的城镇集群（urban cluster, UC）边界。城镇集群指人口聚居密度较高的定居区域，其人口规模不少于2500人且不足50000人。美国人口普查局（U.S. Census Bureau）划定城镇集群，旨在为城镇及周边区域的人口集中度提供更统一、精准的测算标准。本次的城镇集群边界数据源自2000年美国人口普查结果。本文件仅作参考用途，北中德克萨斯政府间理事会及其成员单位不对本文件中的错误或不准确之处承担责任。
