In law, women have equal land ownership rights to men.
A YES score is earned where in law women's equal land ownership right is guaranteed, whether because a law explicitly establishes this right, or because no law restricts it (for example, by giving men precedence). A general constitutional principle against discrimination based on gender is NOT enough to score YES.
A mixed score is earned when in law, within the same country, some women have equal land ownership rights to men and some don't, when different legal frameworks coexist (civil, customary, sharia, etc.).
A NO score is earned where a law restricts women's equal land ownership rights or gives men precedence.
