Volumetric calcium imaging of mouse somatosensory cortex during vibrissal object localization before and after multiphoton ablation of a small subset of L2/3 neurons.

This dataset contains the data that accompanies Peron et al., 2020, Nature, "Recurrent interactions in local cortical circuits". It consists of two-photon imaging data, recorded at 7 Hz in 600 x 600 um planes, of which 3 are imaged simultaneously (this is a subvolume). There are typically 4-6 such subvolumes per animal. Data for a given subvolume typically was collected for 2-4 days prior to, and another 2-4 days after multiphoton ablation was performed. Ablation was targeted to specific neurons (typically 10-20). Whisker videography and behavioral data is also represented.
