DEME (Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering) NV is an international group with headquarters in Belgium. Since its founding as a dredging business in 1991, DEME has become a leader in the field of dredging, marine engineering and environmental remediation and operates globally. Marine works accounted for the largest share of revenue of DEME Group in 2017. As of 2017, Marine works generated close to 40 percent of DEME Group revenue, dredging accounted for 23 percent of the group's revenue in the same year.
