Temporal oral microbiome shifts with brushing in children with CLP

This study aimed to characterize the oral microbiome of children from different age groups with CLP, and evaluate the effect of supervised or unsupervised toothbrushing on the microbiome of the cleft. Next-generation sequencing was used to analyze the microbial composition and diversity before and after the use of a toothbrush in three moments.
